Permanent - £45,255 per annum


An experienced Cost Improvement Engineer is wanted to join a major Sunderland employer on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will focus on identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives across the company.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Analysing current processes and identifying any cost saving opportunities

  • Collaborating with other departments in the business for cost improvement projects

  • Preparing detailed reports on cost improvement findings and ideas to present to management

  • Leading cost improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery to budget constraints


Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within manufacturing

  • Knowledge of quality systems – ISO/TS:16949, methods and practises including APQP, FMEA, Control Plan and PPAP

  • Six Sigma Certification is desirable

  • Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
