What qualifications do I need to work in driving?

In order to secure a driving job in the UK you will need the following qualifications: CPC, Digi, Tacho, Full UK driving license.

What are the different types of driving jobs?

Shunter – Class 1 drivers who drive between point A and point B. Normally in a yard or between 2 sites.

Tramper – Is a driver who is away for a week at a time and sleeps in the vehicle.

Trunker – Drivers who do long distance work.

Multi Drop – 7.5t or Class 2 vehicles typically do on average 10 – 15 drops per day.

Courier – Van drivers who do high volume parcel drops. Normally 80 – 120+ drops per day.
